Abstract
A simple and efficient synthetic protocol has been developed using iodine, three-component one-pot reaction involving 2-aminophenol, dialkylacetylenedicarboxylate and substituted beta-nitrostyrene. Utilizing this protocol, a variety of novel pyrrolo-1,4-benzoxazine derivatives were synthesized in good to excellent yields
