IIT-Hyderabad registers 60% rise in preplacement
offers this year.

Abstract
HYDERABAD: Pre-placement offers (PPOs) witnessed a remarkable rise at the Indian Institute
of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad with as many as 47 this year as against 18 last year.
In a press release issued by the IIT-Hyderabad on Tuesday, as many as 424 students from
different disciplines and departments have registered to appear for the 2017-18 campus
placements, the first phase of which is scheduled to commence on December 3 and conclude on
December 22. Subsequently, the second phase shall commence from the first week of January
2018.
