Abstract

Complex oxide surface and interfaces with exotic properties provide immense opportunities in condensed matter physics and material science. Enormous progress has been made towards understanding of the atomic scale properties of complex oxide materials and their heterostructures both experimental as well as theoretical. Surface and interface properties of complex oxides are of great importance from technological and scientific perspectives. In general, the surface and interface properties critically affect the performance and functionality of the given electronic device.
